ABOUT IFE
Ife Joseph is a young poet, app developer and public speaker from Montclair, New Jersey. At just 15 years old she has already garnered national attention for her ground breaking app and her powerful poetry.
Ife’s journey began with her passion for coding where she joined Black Girls Code. A non-profit organization that empowers and inspires youth to explore computer programming. In 2022, Ife was invited to speak at the United Nations where she inspired the younger generation and advocated for inclusivity in STEM fields and the importance of Black Girls Code.
With her desire to make a difference, Ife developed her own app, Mental Health for Social Justice, that tackles mental health and social justice issues. Her commitment to fostering a positive change in her community lead her to be featured on Good Morning America. Learn more here.
At just 11 years old, Ife was a semifinalist for Times Magazines “Kid of the Year” award.
